Madame Dubrov, a famous medium from Bulgaria confirms that castle De Haar is haunted. In a secret seance, organised by this newspaper, the ghost of a lady appeared. According to Dubrov the ghost is related to a house maid by the name Josephine who disappeared at the end of the last century under mysterious circumstances.
According to American showman and politician P.T. Barnum, H.G. Wells has disrupted time through his future time travels of 1899. Barnum claims he can restore time with the help of a ghost. J. van Noot reveals that he and priest Alfred Ronse had a visit of Josephine Rombouts, the young housekeeper at castle De Haar who disappeared several years ago under mysterious circumstances. According to the pastor Josephine wanted to confess about the theft of gold. The visit took place at the forge of the monastery in Utrecht. The pastor is now convinced that Josephine has been murdered but that she hasn’t realised this herself.

He did it again. At the age of 101, Doctor Victor Frankenstein created a living fairy of one meter high. The event took place at the rebuilt castle De Haar in the Netherlands. Gustave Frédéric Baron van Zuylen van Nyevelt van de Haar had invited the famous professor because of unexpected presence of small fairies. The Doctor used the dead body of female serial killer Greetje de Boer who gave her body to science after death.

Shortly before the mobilisation of the Dutch army, captain Cornelis de Graeff of the First Division had been arrested but again released after two days. The captain is suspect in the unsolved murder case from the end of the last century of the maid of castle De Haar, Josephine Rombouts. The captain denies any wrongdoing but admits he had a short romance with Josephine back in those days.
